WTP is used for the treatment of raw input water or waste water by dosing acid and alkali to balance the PH. The treated water is then used in the paint shop or in the CUC building for general use . This project has a mixed configuration consisting of Allen Bradley CPU, Siemens ET200S I/O’s communicating with CPU on device net and GE Fanuc Cimplicity Scada. This Scada communicates with CPU through Ethernet using OPC. Cimplicity Server- Viewer configuration is used in this project. Siemens HMI MP370’s are used as operator panels and are communicating on Ethernet using OPC. The Modbus-TCP IP gateway is used for communication with the third party controller.

The scope of work included:

2. Software development
3. Commissioning.
